The idea of allowing money to flow through Sophie Co. and on to others is how I believe we can create a thriving ecosystem that is truly grounded in love. I want Sophie Co. to be a safe space where you feel seen and heard, where you are uplifted and your courage booms to help you stand stronger and speak your message without fear.

Clean water and sanitation are the keys to breaking free from poverty. Access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation are vital for health, especially among children.

In 2012, the goal was to weave One Million Stars to End Violence with people around the world who believe that there is more goodness and hope in the world and who are committed to taking action. In partnership with the Queensland Government, we reached that amazing goal in 2018. One Billion Stars was created to carry on this mission.
Our mission is to build more partnerships and collaborations to create violence free communities using the power of star weaving.

If weaving can help us to cope with grief and anger and find focus to do good, then maybe it can help others. Sharing the star weaving technique is not just about making beautiful star installations; it’s about sharing culture and tradition, ancient ways of being in community with each other over food, craft and healthy relationships.
A NOTE FROM SOPHIE:
I am proud to be able to have a space that I can offer to uphold other powerful women online. I am so inspired by the creativity and art that Maryann brings as well as her connection to her birthplace, ancestors and mission for change. Domestic violence has also had a huge impact on my life and I honour what Maryann does to change this.
